Using Microsoft to login (SSO)

RESPONSUM gives you and your users/employees the option to login using a Microsoft account.

Technical Setup

No specific technical setup is required to setup SSO. Your user will be asked to give our RESPONSUM app access to certain information in their profile upon first login and will have to validate their email address:

In some cases, connection to our app can be blocked due to a policy set in your Active Directory. So making sure that your AD users can connect to other apps for login purposes is the only technical requirement. If your users receive a message to contact their administrator for app access, be sure to follow this guide in order to set the settings correctly and allow our app to be used for SSO.

Adding an “SSO only” user

Instructions on how to add a normal user through the User Management can be found here. By default a user is created and credentials to login for the first time are provided to the users inbox.

If when adding or importing Users the “SSO-Only” user parameter is set, the user will not receive any email from RESPONSUM but will be able to login using his/her Microsoft account.
