Pre-requisites to Get Started
Before diving into the Measures module, ensure you have the following in place:
- User Access: Verify that you have the appropriate permissions to access and modify the Measures module in RESPONSUM. If you need additional permissions, contact your system administrator.
- Standards or Frameworks: Ensure you have access to the standard or framework by purchasing it from an authorized reseller of the standard/framework.
Fast-track to Brilliance
If you’re eager to start tracking your standards and frameworks implementation, follow these quick steps:
- Access the Measures Module: Navigate to the Measures module from the main menu in RESPONSUM.
- Populate the tree structure with your standard or framework: click “add topic” to add a new standard or framework. Within the newly added topic, you can click on “add topic” to create a new level within the tree structure. Keep adding topics to complete the standard/framework. TIP if you have purchased a standard or framework, please contact support@responsum.eu. If possible we will set all controls and clauses in place.
- Map Requirements to Measures: Begin mapping the standard’s requirements to your organization’s processes and controls. You can add descriptions, assign responsibilities, and set deadlines.

1. Accessing the Measures Module
- Log in to RESPONSUM and navigate to the Security > Measures module from the main menu.
2. Selecting or Adding a Standard or Framework
- Predefined Standards: RESPONSUM comes with some predefined standards and frameworks like ISO 27001. If you have purchased the license, please contact us at support@responsum.eu.
- Adding a New Standard: If we do not have a template for your desired standard or framework, you can add it by populating the tree structure and adding the necessary details.
Mapping Requirements to Organizational Processes
- Determine applicability: Browse through the standard’s requirements and start mapping them to your organization’s measures. Set the applicability by clicking yes/no.
- Add Details: For each measure, provide a detailed description, including the relevant organizational process, responsible team members, and any supporting documentation.
- Set Deadlines and Priorities: Assign deadlines to ensure timely implementation and prioritize tasks based on your organization’s compliance strategy.
Assigning Responsibilities and Tasks
- Designate the responsible individuals for each requirement. This ensures accountability and facilitates collaboration.
Regular Updates and Reviews:
- Regularly update the status of each requirement as your team completes tasks and meets milestones.
